Dr Dobelbower

Dr Dobelbower

Dr. Dobelbower was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas.  He attended the University of Kansas and Washburn University graduating with a bachelors degree in communications with an emphasis on general studies from Washburn University.  Dr. Dobelbower has also attained a bachelors degree in human biology from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.  He graduated in 1999 with honors from Logan College of Chiropractic  with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.  He was given a special award from the faculty for being the most well rounded student in his class. Additionally Dr. Dobelbower completed his post-doctorate education in Nutrition from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX.  He is currently pursuing his certification in Function Movement.

Dr. Dobelbower continues to update and improve his education so that he can provide the best possible care to his patients.  With recent continuing education, he is working with patients on Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA). SFMA helps patients improve performance and make sure their therapeutic exercises will restore pain-free movement appropriately.   Additionally, he is studying with Craig Liebenson, DC, a renown doctor specializing in movement therapeutics. He is pursuing his certification in Funcational Movement.  This is cutting edge activity-based services that strives to bridge the gap between rehab and performance by applying contemporary clinical approaches in pain management, restoring human function, and promoting wellness/fitness. So whether a  patient is an athlete, construction worker or a mom, he can address inappropriate movement patterns and improve functional movement helping patients move through their daily lives more vibrantly.

He and his wife Kathi have been married for 19 years.  He enjoys traveling, eating well, fishing, hiking, and Jayhawk basketball.  Dr. Dobelbower and Kathi also enjoy vintage swing dancing and teaching Lindy Hop and other vintage dances in Southwest Montana.  Dr. Steve (as his patients refer to him)  lives in Livingston, Montana.

Kathi Dobelbower

Kathi will likely be one of the first smiling faces you talk to or see at Park County Chiropractic. She is often at the front desk answering the phone, scheduling appointments and helping patients with questions. Kathi grew up all over the western US, including parts of Montana. She graduated from Washburn University in Topeka, KS with a bachelor in fine arts.  Kathi met Steve at Washburn University during their undergraduate education and they married just before Dr. Steve began his adventures in Chiropractic. She worked in several Chiropractic clinics before Dr. Steve graduated and has had training beyond the front desk so you might also see Kathi assisting the Dr Dobelbower with patient care when needed.

Besides helping people understand the value of Chiropractic and Nutritional care, Kathi enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, gardening and dancing. When she is not at the clinic, you might find her DJ’ing a swing dance or hosting a dancing event.  She runs an all volunteer organization (with the help of Dr. Steve) to promote vintage swing dancing in SW Montana called Bozeman Swing.

Sara Kremer

Sara is the newest edition to Park County Chiropractic and we love having her here!  Sara is a ray of sunshine at the front desk where will see her most of the time. Like Kathi, she answers the phone, schedules appointments and enjoys helping Dr Dobelbower take great care of patients.  She grew up locally and attended Montana State University graduating with a liberal studies degree and a minor in photography.  She met Dr Steve and Kathi dancing.  Besides dancing, Sara likes reading, traveling, photography and sewing and knitting (and generally creating).  She has a great vintage pattern collection.  Sara is currently in a Masters of Arts program and developing her creative skills.
